Not Vegan

An ox (also known as a bullock) is a domesticated bovine, typically a castrated adult male cattle, used as a draft animal. In cosmetics, ox-derived ingredients such as ox bile (oxgall) are used as emulsifiers and wetting agents. All ox-derived ingredients are of animal origin, requiring slaughter or killing, and are therefore neither vegan nor vegetarian.
