Pantethine is a dimeric form of pantetheine, formed from two pantetheine molecules linked by a disulfide bridge, and is derived from pantothenic acid (vitamin B5). It is an intermediate in coenzyme A biosynthesis and is used as a dietary supplement and cosmetic ingredient.
