Is PEG-16 Dilaurate vegan?

PEG-16 Dilaurate is the diester of polyethylene glycol (16 moles ethylene oxide) and lauric acid, used as an emulsifier and surfactant in cosmetic and personal care products such as shampoos. Lauric acid may be derived from plant or animal sources.
