Is Polyalkylaminoester-1 vegetarian?
Polyalkylaminoester-1
Polyalkylaminoester-1 is a complex synthetic polymer made by polymerizing butadiene into polybutadiene, capping it with propylene oxide, esterifying with acrylic acid, and linking the resulting pre-polymers via a Michael addition reaction with N,N-Bis(2-hydroxyethyl)-1,3-diaminopropane. It is used in cosmetics as a film-forming agent, notably in hair and nail products.
