Polyester-29 is a synthetic polymer made by reacting isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI) with a polyester pre-polymer produced by condensing epsilon-caprolactone with hexanediol, then capping the resulting polymer with 2-hydroxyethyl acrylate (HEA). It is used in cosmetic formulations as a film-forming agent.
