Is Propolis vegan?

Propolis, also known as bee glue, is a resinous substance produced by honeybees from plant resins, beeswax, and bee secretions. Bees use it to seal crevices and fix combs within the hive; it is used in cosmetics for its antimicrobial and skin-conditioning properties.

An ingredient is considered vegan if it contains no animal-derived components at any point in its production.
