Is Quinizarine Green SS vegan?

Quinizarine Green SS, also known as Solvent Green 3, is an anthraquinone derivative dye. It appears as a black powder soluble in polar organic solvents but insoluble in water. It is used to impart a greenish colour to cosmetics, medications, and some coloured smoke formulations.
