Quinoline

Unconfirmed

Quinoline is a heterocyclic aromatic organic compound (C₉H₇N) that is a colourless, hygroscopic liquid with a strong odour. It is found in coal tar and in some plants, and many of its derivatives are used in pharmaceuticals and dyes. In cosmetics it may be used as a carrier with gelatin, making vegan status uncertain without knowing the specific formulation.
