Is Skatole vegan?

Skatole (3-methylindole) is an organic compound of the indole family. Although naturally occurring in mammal and bird feces, it is also found in plants such as orange blossom and jasmine, and for cosmetic use it is produced synthetically for use as a fragrance fixative.
