Sodium stannate, also known as disodium tin trioxide or sodium hexahydroxostannate(IV), is an inorganic tin compound formed by dissolving metallic tin or tin(IV) oxide in sodium hydroxide. It is used as a stabiliser for hydrogen peroxide in cosmetics.
