Synthetic Sapphire is a laboratory-synthesized compound chemically similar to natural sapphire (aluminium oxide, α-Al2O3), produced in colors ranging from white to black, excluding red, and used in cosmetics for its optical and abrasive properties.

An ingredient is considered vegan if it contains no animal-derived components at any point in its production.
