Is Tallamide DEA vegan?

Tallamide DEA is a diethanolamine condensate of tall oil fatty acids, used as a surfactant and emulsifying agent; tall oil is a byproduct of wood pulp processing but the fatty acid profile is similar to other plant/animal sources, making the ultimate origin variable.
