Is TEA-Canolate vegan?

TEA-Canolate is the reaction product of canola oil fatty acids with triethanolamine, used in cosmetics as a surfactant or emulsifying agent derived from canola (rapeseed) oil.

An ingredient is considered vegan if it contains no animal-derived components at any point in its production.
