Is 1-Naphthol vegan?

1-Naphthol, also known as α-naphthol, is a synthetic aromatic organic compound used as a dye intermediate in hair colorants. It is a fluorescent white solid, chemically distinct from its isomer 2-naphthol by the position of the hydroxyl group.
