Is Acetic Acid Esters of Mono- and Diglycerides of Fatty Acids vegan?

E472a consists of acetic acid esters of mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids (acetylated monoglycerides), used as emulsifiers in food and cosmetics. The fatty acids may originate from animal or vegetable sources. They improve dough stability and shelf life in bakery products.
