Is Bentonite vegan?

Bentonite is a colloidal clay mineral consisting primarily of montmorillonite, used as an anti-caking agent (E558) in food and as an absorbent, viscosity modifier, and opacifier in cosmetic formulations.

Classifications are made to the best of our knowledge based on available scientific and regulatory sources.
