This is a synthetic urethane polymer formed by condensing dimethylolcyclohexane, hexanediol, and dimethyl carbonate into a polyester, reacting it with isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI), and end-capping with HEMA. It is used in cosmetic formulations as a film-forming agent.
