Is Bison vegan?

Bison are large bovine mammals in the genus Bison within the tribe Bovini, comprising two extant species: the American bison and the European bison. As a close relative of cattle, bison-derived ingredients are sourced from the animal's meat, hide, fat, or other tissues, making them unsuitable for vegans or vegetarians.
