Is Bittern vegan?

Bittern is the residual salt solution remaining after sodium chloride has been crystallized out of seawater or brine, rich in magnesium and other minerals, used in cosmetics and food production (e.g. tofu coagulation).

An ingredient is considered vegan if it contains no animal-derived components at any point in its production.
