Is Chromium(III) Chloride vegan?

Chromium(III) Chloride (chromic chloride, CrCl3) is an inorganic chromium salt that forms violet anhydrous crystals or dark green hexahydrate crystals. It is used as a catalyst, mordant for textile dyeing, and precursor for chromium-based dyes and pigments.
