Is Clay vegan?

Clay is a group of phyllosilicate minerals formed by the chemical and physical weathering of rock, consisting chiefly of hydrated silica and alumina with particle sizes under 2 micrometers. It is used in cosmetics as an absorbent and mask ingredient.

An ingredient is considered vegan if it contains no animal-derived components at any point in its production.
