Is Copal vegan?
Copal
Copal is a natural tree resin obtained from various tropical trees, including Trachylobium and Hymenaea species (Leguminosae) or Protium copal. It contains resin acids, terpenes, and their oxidation or polymerization products, and has been historically used as incense and in varnishes.
An ingredient is considered vegan if it contains no animal-derived components at any point in its production.
