Is Curcumin vegan?

A bright yellow polyphenolic pigment extracted from the rhizome of turmeric (Curcuma longa). It is used as a natural colorant in food, cosmetics, and dietary supplements, and is also studied for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
