Defined Cell Culture Media 16 is a synthetic cell culture medium phase consisting of amino acids, vitamins, minerals and buffering agents including ascorbic acid, biotin, calcium pantothenate, copper sulfate, cysteine, ferric sodium EDTA, folic acid, glutamic acid, glycine, magnesium sulfate, methionine, nicotinic acid, phenylalanine, phosphate buffered saline, proline, pyridoxine HCl, riboflavin, thiamine HCl and zinc sulfate. It is used to support cell growth in controlled laboratory culture conditions.
