Is Dimethylsilanol Hyaluronate vegan?

Dimethylsilanol Hyaluronate is the ester of dimethylsilanol and hyaluronic acid, used in cosmetics as a moisturizing and skin-conditioning agent. Hyaluronic acid used in its production can be derived from bacterial fermentation or animal (e.g. rooster comb) sources.

An ingredient is considered vegan if it contains no animal-derived components at any point in its production.
