A complex petroleum distillate consisting predominantly of paraffinic hydrocarbons, classified as heavy, obtained from crude oil distillation. It is a mineral oil product, not of animal or plant origin.

An ingredient is considered vegan if it contains no animal-derived components at any point in its production.
