Is Extract Residues (Coal), Light Oil Alk., Indene Naphtha Fraction vegan?

This is a complex combination of hydrocarbons obtained as a residue from the alkaline extraction of coal-derived light oil, from the indene naphtha fraction; it may contain more than 0.1% w/w benzene, a known carcinogen.

An ingredient is considered vegan if it contains no animal-derived components at any point in its production.
