Faex Extract, also known as Yeast Extract, is an extract derived from Saccharomyces cerevisiae or similar yeast, used in cosmetics for its conditioning and nutrient properties. It is of microbial, non-animal origin.

An ingredient is considered vegan if it contains no animal-derived components at any point in its production.
