Is Flexible Collodion vegetarian?
Flexible Collodion
Flexible Collodion is a mixture of collodion (nitrocellulose dissolved in ether and alcohol), camphor, and castor oil, historically used as a surgical dressing and in cosmetics; the inclusion of castor oil makes this specific mixture plant-derived and vegan, though some historical formulations may use non-vegan components.
An ingredient is considered vegetarian if it avoids components derived from killing an animal.
