Vegan
Glucose is a simple monosaccharide sugar typically produced by the hydrolysis of plant-derived starches (corn, rice, wheat, potato) using mineral acids or enzymes. It may also be produced synthetically. In some countries, glucose syrup is processed through bone char filters, introducing a potential animal-derived step.
