Is Hydrogenated Brassica Alcohol vegan?

Hydrogenated Brassica Alcohol is produced by the controlled hydrogenation of fatty alcohols derived from oils of various Brassica species (e.g. rapeseed, canola). It is used in cosmetics as an emollient and emulsifier.
