Hydrogenated Phosphatidylcholine is produced by the hydrogenation of phosphatidylcholine derived from soybean lecithin, used as an emollient and emulsifier in cosmetics and pharmaceutical formulations. It is plant-derived, though phosphatidylcholine can also be sourced from egg yolk in other applications.
