Hydrolyzed Calcium Hyaluronate is the calcium salt of hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid, produced by acid, enzymatic or other hydrolysis. Hyaluronic acid used as a starting material can be derived from animal tissue (e.g. rooster combs) or from microbial fermentation, so origin varies by manufacturer.
