Isoceteth-7 is a nonionic surfactant formed by the ethoxylation of isocetyl alcohol (branched C16 fatty alcohol) with an average of 7 moles of ethylene oxide. It is used as an emulsifier, solubilizer and foam stabilizer in personal care products.
