Is Mare Milk vegetarian?

Mare Milk is whole milk lactated by female horses (mares) to feed their foals, rich in whey protein, polyunsaturated fatty acids, and vitamin C; used as a cosmetic ingredient and food (e.g. kumis).

An ingredient is considered vegetarian if it avoids components derived from killing an animal.
