Is Naphtha (petroleum), chemically neutralized heavy vegan?

A heavy petroleum naphtha that has been chemically neutralized (e.g. via sweetening processes to remove sulfur compounds), composed of hydrocarbons, regulated when containing more than 0.1% w/w benzene.

An ingredient is considered vegan if it contains no animal-derived components at any point in its production.
