Is PEG-12 Carnauba vegan?

PEG-12 Carnauba is the ethoxylated form of carnauba wax, a wax obtained from the leaves of the carnauba palm (Copernicia prunifera), with an average of 12 moles of ethylene oxide; used as an emulsifier and texturizing agent in cosmetics.

An ingredient is considered vegan if it contains no animal-derived components at any point in its production.
