A thermoplastic polymer produced by chain-growth polymerization of the monomer propylene, used in cosmetics as a texturizing agent and in packaging. It is entirely synthetic, derived from petrochemical feedstocks.

An ingredient is considered vegan if it contains no animal-derived components at any point in its production.
