Polysorbate 65 (E436) is polyoxyethylene (20) sorbitan tristearate, a nonionic emulsifier produced from sorbitol, stearic acid (animal- or plant-derived), and ethylene oxide. It is used as an emulsifier and stabiliser in food and cosmetic products.
