This is a single-chain fusion peptide produced by fermentation in E. coli, from a synthetic gene fusing sequences based on mussel-derived peptide fragments (Dipeptide-43, Mussel Polypeptide-2, Dipeptide-44, Mussel Oligopeptide-1, Tetrapeptide-70, Dipeptide-40) and sh-Hexapeptide-5. The fusion peptide contains 211 amino acids and may include disulfide bonds and/or glycosylation. As a recombinant fermentation product, it does not require animal-derived raw material.
