Royal jelly is a nutritious secretion produced by worker honeybees and fed to all bee larvae and exclusively to queen bees throughout their lives. It is used in cosmetics for its purported skin-conditioning, moisturising, and anti-ageing properties.

An ingredient is considered vegan if it contains no animal-derived components at any point in its production.
