Is Succinoglycan vegetarian?

Succinoglycan is an exopolysaccharide composed of repeating units of one galactose and seven glucose molecules, produced by fermentation of the bacterium Agrobacterium tumefaciens (also known as Rhizobium radiobacter); used as a thickener in cosmetics.

An ingredient is considered vegetarian if it avoids components derived from killing an animal.
