Is Tall Oil vegan?

Tall oil is a viscous yellow-black liquid obtained as a by-product of the kraft process during wood pulp manufacture, mainly from coniferous trees. It contains rosin acids, oleic and linoleic acids, and long-chain alcohols.

An ingredient is considered vegan if it contains no animal-derived components at any point in its production.
