Is Taloweth-5 vegan?

Taloweth-5 is a polyethylene glycol ether of tallow alcohol, produced by ethoxylating fatty alcohols derived from animal tallow with approximately 5 moles of ethylene oxide. Because it is derived from animal fat, it is not considered vegan.
