Is Tara Gum vegetarian?

Tara gum is a natural hydrocolloid obtained by grinding the endosperm of the seeds of Caesalpinia spinosa (tara tree), native to Peru. It is used as a thickener, gelling agent, and stabiliser in food and cosmetic products.
