Is Velvet vegan?

Velvet is a soft, luxurious woven fabric characterized by its dense, cut pile surface. It can be made from silk (animal-derived), or from synthetic or plant-based fibers such as rayon, nylon, or polyester.

Classifications are made to the best of our knowledge based on available scientific and regulatory sources. We cannot guarantee the accuracy of every entry, errors in the sources we draw from can always occur.
