Is Acesulfame vegan?

Acesulfame, commonly sold as acesulfame potassium (Ace-K), is a calorie-free artificial sweetener approximately 200 times sweeter than sucrose. It is produced synthetically and used as a food and beverage additive. It carries E number E950 in the EU.
