Is Capiz vegan?

Capiz is the thin, translucent shell of the windowpane oyster (Placuna placenta), a bivalve mollusc found in the Indo-Pacific region. The shells are used decoratively in jewellery, cosmetic packaging, and interior design.

An ingredient is considered vegan if it contains no animal-derived components at any point in its production.
