Is Kojic Dipalmitate vegetarian?

Kojic Dipalmitate is an ester of kojic acid, a compound produced by fermentation of certain fungi (e.g. Aspergillus species), esterified with palmitic acid. It is used in cosmetics as a skin-lightening and antioxidant agent.
