Is Laccase vegan?

Laccase is a multicopper oxidase enzyme produced by fermentation of Aspergillus oryzae expressing a gene encoding laccase from Myceliophthora thermophila; it is used in cosmetics and industrial processes to oxidize phenolic substrates.

An ingredient is considered vegan if it contains no animal-derived components at any point in its production.
